History of Kasina Ski & Bike Park

The year 1978

• Establishment of the ski resort in Kasina Wielka.From the very beginning, the resort became one of the favourite places for winter sports, both among local residents and visitors from Kraków.

The year 2002

• here was a change of ownership, and the resort underwent a number of modernization investments;
• The ski slope was reshaped;
• The T-bar lift was replaced with a 4-seater chairlift;
• A snowmaking system and lighting were installed.

The year 2014

• The ownership changed again, and the resort joined Grupa Pingwina.
• Over the past few years, many significant investments have been carried out, contributing to the development of a modern ski resort.

The year 2016

• A modern 6-seater Doppelmayr chairlift was built;
• The gates were replaced with a Base System featuring photocontrol.

The year 2017

• The largest bike park of its kind, Bike Park Kasina, was created within the resort.

The year 2018

• Construction of a modern TechnoAlpin snowmaking system;
• Construction of a Sunkid conveyor lift;
• In spring, the Young Rider Arena was opened, consisting of three elements: a pumptrack, an outdoor gym, and a themed playground.

The year 2019

• The resort gained a large, convenient car park;
• Construction of the Moped Retro Museum began;
• Two dining venues were modernized: Karczma and Ski & Bike Bistro.
